A Living Tribute to Patsy Cline by Jeanne Coady: Description
This show features songs that showcase Patsy's life. Jeanne delivers a musical narrative on Cline's music - rich in history featuring all of Patsy's hits from her arrival in New York in 1957 with Walkin' After Midnight to her most famous hit from Nashville in 1961, Willie Nelson's Crazy. A show not to miss, Coady delivers Cline with power and passion. I introduced A Living Tribute to Patsy Cline ten years ago at the Kittitas County Fair and have toured much of Montana, Idaho, Oregon and Washington with the show since that time. How did I end up with a gig as as Patsy Cline Tribute Artist? I don't even know. It just kind of fell into my lap. But I was ready for it, and I embraced it. I read somewhere that" there are 3 things in life that once gone you can never get back: time, words, and opportunity." Singing Patsy Cline has been one of those opportunities for me. The fact that I get to do it in a wig and vintage clothing is a bonus.
