Slightly Illusional Educational Assembly Programs

At Slightly Illusional, we are dedicated to helping schools and libraries instill a passion for reading and learning in their student’s hearts and minds. We offer educational and entertaining programs for children from pre-kindergarten through high school.

Each of these programs emphasizes the critical importance of reading. We keep coming back to that topic because study after study has shown that children who read for pleasure score higher on every achievement test than those who don’t.

For elementary schools, we offer a “Go Wild” Science Program, a “Top Secret” Geography Program, and an “Arctic Express” Diversity Program.  Each program also promotes reading and comes with a book list for the librarian/teachers and a bookmark for each student. Leanne the Magic Bunny Rabbit and the puppet Roosevelt Rat are the stars of each show.

For secondary schools, we offer a “Math-A-Magic” program which uses magic and audience participation to teach statistics and probability, and a “Tales of the Unknown” program which features mind-blowing mentalism interwoven with stories from H.G. Wells, Bram Stoker, and more.
