2008 JURIED SHOWCASE PERFORMANCE VENUE in Eugene, Oregon
The 500-seat Soreng Theater is one of three theaters that make up the Hult Center for the Performing Arts. It is a multi-use facility ideal for music, theater and dance presentations and is fully equipped with theatrical stage lighting and sound support. Our stage and Tech manager will be Dave Sherman, who works with Arts Northwest each year to facilitate high quality, artist friendly tech.

SORENG THEATER TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

• Stage Specifications: Stage floor is sprung wood surface.

• Performance space is approximately 40 ft. wide x 30 ft. deep.

• Seating Capacity: 500

• Sound:  House System: Mains: JBL Array Series Cabinets driven by Crown Macrotech amplifiers. FOH Console & Electronics: Allan & Heath 3300, Cassette, CD, DAT playback. Monitors: 2 JBL Studio Monitors (15" & 2") as side fills driven by 800 watt Carver Amplified

• Lighting: Full lighting plot suitable for music, dance and theatre performances.

• Other: Only available rigging is to dead hang from a catwalk. There are no line sets and no fly system in this theatre. There is an ultimate backdrop of black velour or drawn cyc, and a mid-stage traveler about six feet upstage of the front of the stage.
